My Top 5 Bangkok Brunches

My Top 5 Bangkok Brunches

Bangkok is by far my favourite city, maybe cause I have lived here for 16 years or it is an ultimate foodie paradise?! I think both 😉 I have compiled a list of my favourite food spots with a range of prices and cuisines for you to enjoy!

Don’t have time to read now, pin the photo below.

Best International Brunch // Greyhound Cafe

If you’ve been to Bangkok and not gone to Greyhound… have you gone at all? This place is well renound to all Bangkonians, it was the first “cafe culture” spot in Bangkok and is still popular to this day. They have opened a couple of locations in the world now, but my favourite is still their locations in Thonglor J Avenue, Emporium shopping mall and Paragon shopping mall.

It is such a great spot as they serve Thai food and western food so can cater to all guests, plus it is really good! Often “international menus” can lead to certain foods not being up to standard, but this isn’t the case here. Make sure you order their Iced lemon tea (the ice cubes are also made of iced lemon!!), complicated noodle, vegetable lasagne & all their noodle dishes are my favourites.

Best Boozy Brunch // W Hotel

This is a tricky one to decide, lots of the hotels offer brunches and come at similar prices and offerings! My favourite used to be the four seasons (now called Anantara madison), it was out on a terrace with a string quartet band and food of dreams. I haven’t been since it changed owners to Anantara so worth checking again!

I felt the W Hotel display was beautiful, their dessert bar was just the most gorgeous array of colours. They have the biggest lobsters and their bellinins are so tasty. I’ve also been to their brunch in Singapore, this hotel knows how to put on a good display.

Best Dim Sum Brunch // Bai Yun @ The Banyan Tree

Our family tradition used to be Sunday brunch at the Novotel however sadly they have now closed that restaurant. Our new favourite is now Bai Yun!

This is a dim sum buffet but you order from a menu and served straight to your table which is perfect. They often also have promotions with certain credit cards, so make sure you check that out! Last time they had buy 1 get 1 free with Citi bank.

The view is amazing as well being on the second top floor of the Banyan Tree hotel. It has views all over Bangkok including the lung of Bangkok which made me want to go there! Read my blog post on this fun day trip if you have time in Bangkok.

Afterwards make sure you check out their roof top bar Vertigo for even mor amazing views!

Best Italian Brunch // Zannotti

I will take all my friends here and they absolutely love it! It is a beautifully set restaurant with white table cloth and cool paintings. Not only do they have the best pasta and pizza & superior service. They also have wonderful dishes I have never tried such as salt roasted fish, fried mushrooms, chocolate profiteroles. They provide complimentary 2-way brushetta which is delicious. I would highly recommend visiting at lunch time as they have a reasonable set-menu for the quality of the food. Must visit!

Best Cafe Brunch // Roast

Whenever I take guests here they always want to come back. Their location in Thong Lor is in a community style block surrounded by greenery in the urban scape and lots of other cute cafes, shops and craft beer stalls.

The restaurant itself is always bustling with people from all corners of the globe ordering their cafe culture style food! Their pulled pork burger, quesadillas, smoothies and coffee selection are oozing with flavours. This is the perfect lazy Sunday spot, they aren’t specialists in the alcohol arena, save that for the craft beer stall on the first floor afterwards!

Let me know if you have some favourite brunch spots in Bangkok! You can combine brunch with an afternoon of cycling Bangkoks’ Green Lung, check my post here.
