Welcome to my first Monday musings! I wanted to create a place to journal my weekend & share some of my favourite finds – travel deals, tips or lifestyle pieces.
Given the situation going on with Covid-19 which is scary with the unknown of it all, I won’t be travelling (I have just cancelled my Easter trip to Paris + South of France) and will be staying at home as much as possible. I still want to be able to blog about other things as I really enjoy it and love the creative outlet 😊.
This weekend was quite perfect, staying at home and social distancing has really let me slow down the pace of my life and enjoy all the little things. Some of the things I’ve been incorporating are:
- Daily gratitude journal each evening – this idea I got from Dr Chatterjee book on the 4 pillar plan. I highly recommend this book! I have the most beautiful embossed diary from Anthropologie.
- Home workouts and meditation.
- Cooking some of my favourite meals.
- Getting back into reading has been wonderful! The perfect way to end the day.

On a travel related note – make sure to check if you can get refunds on your trips e.g easyJet are offering free changes to your flights. I know it’s more phone calls and being kept on hold… but worth the wait! A lot of accommodations also offer refunds if cancelled in advance!
